Chelsea McDonald
Hi There! My name is Chelsea, and I am extremely honored to be the crafter of The Zen Den yoga space. I have been practicing and studying yoga for over two decades. A very devoted student to the philosophies of yoga and a free spirit of sorts, on a deep dive to experience all that life has to offer. I find deep solace in the truth and connection that is found when we stay close to a life in yoga.
Yoga is the weaving of every experience, lesson, blessing, and hardship we have endured. It is the understanding of who we are on the deepest level. A deep dive that has no final destination.
The practice of yoga asana (physical movement) is like returning home each time I step on my mat, and I hope to share this feeling with each of my students by creating a space that feels safe and supportive to all.
I completed my 200 hour training with the Kula Collective in 2018 (and again virtually in 2020). A 300 hour training in 2020, and an 800 hour Yoga Therapy Training in 2024 with Inner Peace Yoga Therapy based in Durango, Colorado. I hold certificates in the studies of Yoga Therapy, Yin, Mindfulness, Sound Healing, Prenatal and Trauma Informed Yoga.
I hope to share in many conversations about how these teachings have impacted your journey.
Let these teachings guide your life.
It is my hope that The Zen Den feels like your own home away from home.
Come to share, come to learn, come to practice, come for community, come and heal.
I hope you find this space to be inspirational to your practice in many ways.
