JULIA ESCH

Hello! My name is Julia and I am passionate about healthy movement and whole-food plant based nutrition. My classes tend to have a lot of open space to observe, reconnect, and explore, with an emphasis that there is nothing that you absolutely need to do – the most important thing is to listen to what your body needs.

I began my yoga asana practice on YouTube in 2020 as a way to help me manage the stress of uncertainty that the year brought. Since then, I’ve switched my initial path from an academic to movement instructor. I’ve mainly practiced vinyasa, slow flow, and Yin Yoga styles, but have a few months of Ashtanga mixed in from my earlier days of practice. I additionally have an interest in Qi Gong, mobility movements, and calisthenics and often bring features of the three into my classes.

I completed my 200 hour RYT in 2024 and will soon start a 300 hour RYT training. I additionally completed a 60 hour Yin Yoga certification, and will soon have a 40 hour Trauma Informed Yoga Nidra certification.

My partner, Torin, and I began our Wellbeing Café YouTube channel in 2024 and create shorter content (averaging 25 minutes per class) for all levels of practitioners.
